Most Holi colours are synthetic. Kalla Green Natural Gulaal is made the other way, from upcycled flowers and herbs given a second life as colour. Neem leaves and bael patra give it its bright green, with a soft scent from tulsi essential oil.
The texture is silky and non-abrasive, and the colour is made to wash off skin and clothes easily. It is a gentler way to enjoy the brightest part of the festival.

What else can a used flower become?
That question grew from a Chemical Engineering project called Begin With Flowers into a wider purpose-led lifestyle, gifting and wellness brand.
For Kalla’s flower-upcycled ritual products, used flowers are carefully segregated, washed, dried and pulverised into flower powder before becoming an important raw material for suitable products.
It is one way Kalla works to give flowers a meaningful second life while creating products that remain connected to ritual and everyday living.
